I’ve read an article (http://www.thebraggingmommy.com/5-reasons-to-take-your-kids-swimming-this-summer/) which made me realize that swimming means a lot to kids and is also good for them. The article inspired me to write about the best pool snacks that will make a pool party fun for kids.
Here are the snacks that will make your children enjoy swimming even more:
Kids prefer fruits than veggies because of the sugar the former contains. Serve dried mangoes, bananas, or apricots during their pool party and watch them be a lot healthier (exercise + healthy food).
Eggs are full of vitamins. They are healthy, and I doubt your kids will ignore them if they see one.
Cashews. Almonds. Pecans. All of these are excellent pool party snacks because they’re easy to eat. Besides, the oil they leave in the hands isn’t difficult to remove. Bear in mind that some kids don’t like washing their hands for too long especially if they’re also excited to go back swimming.
It’s best for kids to eat snacks that don’t make their hands oily and dirty. Most kids go directly to the pool right after eating, and you may not be able to control them when they dive right into the pool after eating bread or potato chips. You wouldn’t want your pool to be all oily, right? This is the reason why skewers are ideal for kids.
Once again, your kids won’t want cutlery and plates when their hands are wet. Serve them fruit skeweres—they’re healthy and easy to devour. Just be sure to remind the kids where to throw the sticks away so you won’t have a difficult time cleaning.
Who wouldn’t want ice cream? Serve them in a cone or a cup with marshmallows, chocolate chips, or nuts!
Everything’s better with cheese, and that includes your children’s pool party.
Although all of these pool snacks will make a pool party even more exciting, be reminded that you should clean your pool before and after the party. Cleaning it with a robotic pool cleaner will be a lot easier for you, and you can be sure that the pool is free of debris and safe for everyone.
